They’re two words everyone likes to hear: “Thank You.” Given that Thanksgiving falls in November, and that the end of the year is approaching, there’s really no better time to thank your customers for their continued business – and for making 2014 a great year!

3 ways to show your thanks this November:

1. Write a heartfelt letter. Thomas is a real estate agent who helps more than 200 clients buy or sell homes every year. His clients mean so much to him and he likes to show his appreciation by sending thank you letters at the end of the year. For a long time he hand-wrote all of the thank you cards, but as his business grew, that became increasingly difficult to do.

A few years ago Thomas decided to use Click2Mail to send his thank you letters. Each year he composes an 8.5″ x 11″ letter and uses his internal mailing list and Easy Letter Sender to send the letter to all of his clients from the year. Thomas feels like it’s a great way to show his appreciation and also stay in touch with clients he hasn’t talked to in a while.

2. Send a coupon or special promotion. What better way to show your appreciation for your customers than with a coupon? Tamara owns a boutique and sends all of her customers the biggest coupon of the year just before Thanksgiving. Since she started this promotion, she has seen tremendous results and she really feels like it strengthens her relationships with her customers. This year, Tamara deigned a special 4.25″ x 6″ postcard that read “A Gift For You: Thank You for a Great Year!” and included the coupon. Tamara plans to send the postcard to everyone on her internal mailing list.

3. Hold an event. One way to strengthen relationships with your best customers is to hold an exclusive event for them. Jenna owns a salon with 7 employees and over 100 regular clients. Last year she held the first annual “Customer Appreciation Party.” She sent a flyer to all of the salon’s regular clients advertising the exclusive event, the product and service deals they’d find at the event, and the games and prizes she had planned.

Jenna also included on the flyer a QR Code that linked to an RSVP page on the salon’s mobile website. The response was incredible; nearly 75% of the invitees responded and all but 10 of those people showed up for the event. The mailer and the event were such a success that the salon is holding their second annual “Customer Appreciation Party” this year.

Your customers are the lifeblood of your business. Sending them a “Thank You” is a great way to show how much you appreciate their business. Visit Click2Mail.com to get started on your letter, postcard, or invitation flyer.
