Move over, Black Friday! Step aside, Cyber Monday!

Hello, Small Business Saturday!

Originally launched in 2010, Small Business Saturday® is dedicated to encouraging shoppers to support their local small businesses during the busiest retail weekend of the year. Many people will automatically go to the large retailers to do their holiday shopping. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this yet, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, why not invest a bit in your local community retailers as well?

Last year consumers who said they were aware of the campaign spent an estimated $5.7 billion with independent merchants. State and local governments supported the cause. Consumer awareness hit 71%, and 46% of those people reported making a purchase.

Not everyone thinks about the importance of supporting local establishments, so how do you get them thinking? Direct mail is a great start. Through direct mail marketing you can advertise your small business with a personalized message or by mailing directly to the customers in your neighborhood. Here’s a couple of our suggestions:

Every Door Direct Mail – Pick a carrier route and mail to everyone in your business neighborhood at a low low price.

Same-as-a-Stamp Postcards – Get 250 postcards printed, processed and mailed for the price of a postage stamp. That mean you get 250 postcards for only $85.

Postcards and Letters – You pick the format and the content. We print and mail your special offers, coupons or sales letters your best customers.

Whether you own or work for a small business or you are just a supporter, you can help to make Small Business Saturday a new Thanksgiving-time tradition. To get started on your mailer, visit Click2Mail.com today.
