Customer Success Story: Saving Money with Profit Margins, Inc.

Marge Groves, the CEO and owner of Profit Margins, Inc., knows how important it is for businesses to save money. After all, that's why she founded her Chicago-area business 15 years ago – to uncover money that her clients could save by implementing profit-making programs.

 

A big part of what Marge and her team do is reach out to their client's customers to find missed sales opportunities. Postcards are a critical component of that effort. When Marge first started her business, creating a mailing campaign was a tedious, labor-intensive process. First, she had to purchase postcards and create a database in Excel. Then, she had to create mailing labels, print them, and attach the labels to the postcards. Finally, she purchased stamps, affixed them to the postcards and dropped everything off at the post office. Needless to say, it wasn't an efficient system – a fact which frustrated Marge, who was always on the lookout for better ways to do business, both for herself and her customers. 

 

So when Marge discovered Click2Mail six years ago, she was elated. “Ta-dah – we found Click2Mail,” she remembers. Now, what was once a complex, multi-step process is done in just a few clicks of the mouse. Today, Marge and her team can focus on creating unique and personalized mailers for each customer. Click2Mail's wide array of product offerings makes that easy, allowing Marge to choose from basic black-and-white postcards or more elaborate, full-color UV-coated mailers, depending on the situation. “We can select the mailpiece that meets our customer’s budget,” Marge explains.

 

Once they've chosen a style for the mailpiece, Marge and her staff at Profit Margins, Inc. design and upload the mailer to our system. Then, Click2Mail does the rest – printing, postage, and mailing – so Marge can focus on profit-generating tasks.

 

Marge says her only concern is that occasionally the online system is a bit slow. But with the recent addition of new servers, that should help speed up processing – making mail with Click2Mail even easier and more efficient. Overall, Marge says that since she discovered Click2Mail half-a-dozen years ago, she has been nothing but pleased with the service she's received. “I love it. It's a fantastic service!”
