By February 1st, most of us have gotten through the year-end reports, the look-backs, and the de-briefs from 2010.  Now, it’s time to look ahead to the rest of 2011.  Make some time to review your direct mail strategy.  Take advantage of the market research reports and other information that have come out about your target market and prospective customers.  Ask yourself:

  • Do those market research reports reveal new information that I need to be capitalizing on in my mailers?  Do I need to adjust my targeting or personalization?
  • What are my marketing goals for this year?  To increase traffic into my store or onto my website?  To sell a new product or service?
